The Embassy of Azerbaijan announces Essay Competition under the theme “One Mine-One Life: Landmines in Azerbaijan”.

On the occasion of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action the Embassy of Azerbaijan announces Essay Competition under the theme “One Mine-One Life: Landmines in Azerbaijan”.

     General Guidelines for participation

• Eligible for ASEAN nationals over 18 years’ old
• Essays should be submitted via following email: jakarta@mission.mfa.gov.az
• Competition starts: 4^th April 2024
• Submission deadline: 4^th June 2024
• Results announcement: 24^th June 2024
• The winners of the competition will receive the award:1 Place: 500$, 2 Place: 300$, 3 Place: 200$.

    Essay Submission Guidelines

• Essay should not exceed 2000 words (excluding footnotes) or 4 pages
• Font size: 12 for text, 14 for headings and 10 for footnotes
• Line spacing: 1.0
• Margin: 1 inch each side
• Alignment justifier and page layout: A4 size
• The competition participants must ensure that their essays are free from plagiarism.
